About PASSA
A festival runs on generosity.
Every Navratri, passes go unused. Plans change, a friend falls ill, a couple pass ends up with one person. Meanwhile someone else is refreshing every group chat, hoping for a way into the circle.
PASSA connects the two, for free. No money, no public phone numbers, no middlemen. Just one extra pass becoming one more dancer.

How it works
From spare pass to full circle
- 1
Offer
Sign in with your number and a PIN, pick the night and venue, and choose free, barter or open to offers. Takes about 30 seconds.
- 2
Choose
Dancers send a short hello. You see requests live (and get an alert if you’ve turned them on) and pick who goes.
- 3
Hand over
Once you accept, you both see each other’s chosen contact. Meet in a public place or transfer digitally, then mark it passed on.
The Pass Forward Promise
No money. No deposits. Ever.
No return expected.
A non-monetary swap is requested.
The owner is flexible. Never money.
Trust & safety
Built to be safe by default
Numbers stay private
Your mobile number is never shown. Contacts are revealed to one person, only after the owner accepts.
Money is never allowed
Listings and messages that mention prices, UPI or selling are blocked before they’re posted.
No codes in public
Pass and QR codes are filtered out of public text, so nobody can copy your entry.
Accounts with a PIN
Every account has a 4-digit PIN. Wrong guesses get locked out, and PINs are stored scrambled.
Report in two taps
Three separate reports hide a listing automatically while a real person reviews it.
Honest about limits
We can’t verify passes or people, and we say so. Always check the venue’s transfer rules.
- Never pay for a pass. Report anyone who asks for money.
- Many venues link passes to ID. Check the transfer rules first.
- Never post QR codes or pass codes publicly.
- Hand over in a public place, or digitally.
Navratri 2026
Nine nights and Dussehra
Each night stays open on PASSA until 3 AM, because garba runs late.
Dates follow Gujarat Tourism’s 2026 calendar. Individual venues may differ.

Who’s behind it
Made in Gujarat, for the circle
PASSA is an independent, non-commercial project run by Vaivik in Gujarat, India. It isn’t affiliated with any garba venue, organiser or ticketing company, and it never will take a cut.
We keep the rules simple and the data small: only what’s needed to pass a pass forward, deleted after the festival. If something feels off, tell us. A real person reads every report.
Questions
Before you ask
Who can use PASSA?
Anyone 18 or older with a mobile number. Under 18? Ask a parent or guardian to use their account.
Does PASSA cost anything?
No. Not to post, not to request, not ever. There are no fees, no ads and no “premium” anything.
Can I sell my pass here?
No. PASSA is for giving passes away or swapping them for something that isn’t money. Asking for money gets listings removed and accounts blocked.
What if the owner doesn’t reply?
Requests expire after six hours or at the end of the night (3 AM), whichever comes first, so you’re free to ask someone else.
What happens after Navratri?
Listings expire with their night. Listing and request details are deleted within 30 days after the festival unless needed for a safety report.
I forgot my PIN
Email admin@vaivik.in from your number’s owner details. Once we’ve confirmed it’s you, we’ll set a temporary PIN.
