01About these terms
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Vaivik, the individual who runs PASSA (“PASSA”, “we”, “us”).
By using the website or creating an account, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Community Guidelines. If you don’t agree, please don’t use PASSA.
02What PASSA is, and isn’t
PASSA is a free community notice board. People with spare Garba or Navratri passes can list them for free, for a non-monetary barter, or as “open to offers” (never money). Others can request a pass, and the owner decides whether to accept or decline.
- PASSA never sells passes, never takes a fee or commission, and handles no payments of any kind.
- PASSA does not own, hold, check or deliver any pass. Hand-overs happen directly between users.
- PASSA is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any venue, organiser or ticketing platform.
- PASSA is an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000. Users post the listings, requests and messages, and each user is responsible for what they post.
03Who can use PASSA
- You must be 18 or older. Minors may take part only through a parent or guardian using that adult’s own account.
- You must use a mobile number you are entitled to use, and keep only one account.
- You must not use PASSA if we have blocked you.
04Your account and PIN
You sign in with your mobile number and a 4-digit PASSA PIN that you choose. Mobile numbers are not verified by OTP or SMS, so PASSA cannot confirm anyone’s identity.
- Choose a PIN you don’t use anywhere else. Never use your bank card, UPI or phone PIN.
- Keep your PIN private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Email admin@vaivik.in if you think someone else is using your account.
05Passes and venue rules
Every listing is submitted by a member of the community. PASSA does not check whether a pass is real, valid, unused or transferable.
Many venues link passes to a named person or ID, or don’t allow transfers at all. Before you give or accept a pass, check the venue’s or organiser’s rules and follow them. You alone are responsible for making sure a transfer is allowed, and for what happens if entry is refused.
06What you must not do
- Ask for, offer or accept money, deposits, “booking fees”, “transfer fees” or any other payment for a pass.
- Resell passes, or use PASSA to collect passes for resale.
- List fake, used, expired, duplicated or altered passes, or passes you don’t have.
- Post QR codes, barcodes, pass numbers or pass codes in public.
- Put phone numbers, social handles, email addresses or other contact details in public fields such as your alias or listing note.
- Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against anyone.
- Spam, post misleading listings or flood owners with requests.
- Impersonate another person, organiser or venue.
- Create multiple accounts, or a new account to get around a block.
- Post anything unlawful, obscene or defamatory, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Try to interfere with, overload or break into PASSA or anyone’s account.
07Barter and offers
A barter is a non-monetary exchange, such as swapping a pass for one on a different night. It must never involve money, vouchers, wallet credit or anything that works like cash. Any barter is a private arrangement between users, and PASSA takes no part in it.
08Moderation
We may hide or remove any content, and suspend or block any account, if we believe it breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines, puts someone at risk, or is unlawful. We may do this without notice.
Anyone can report a listing. If three different people report the same listing, it is hidden automatically until we review it. We also remove unlawful content when we receive a valid order from a court or government authority, as Indian law requires.
If you think we got a decision wrong, see Grievance Redressal & Contact.
09Free service, no warranty
PASSA is provided free, “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to keep it running, but we don’t promise it will always be available, error-free or secure, and we give no warranties of any kind, express or implied.
We don’t guarantee that any listing is accurate, that any pass works, or that any user will do what they promised.
10Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, PASSA and its operator are not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of PASSA or from dealings between users. This includes refused entry, invalid or cancelled passes, missed events, lost items, money lost to scams, and any indirect or consequential loss.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11Indemnity
If you break these terms or the law while using PASSA, and someone makes a claim against PASSA or its operator because of it, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs that result, including legal fees.
12Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms. The liability, indemnity and governing law sections still apply after your account ends.
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date on this page shows the latest version. If you keep using PASSA after a change, you accept the updated terms.
14Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Gujarat.
