03How to complain
You don’t need a PASSA account to make a complaint.
- Use the report form at /report, or
- Email admin@vaivik.in with “Grievance” in the subject line.
04What to include
Please don’t send your PIN, OTPs or bank details. We will never ask for them.
- The link to the listing, or the alias of the person involved.
- A short description of what happened, with dates and times if you can.
- Screenshots, if they help.
- How to reach you for a reply (email or phone).
- For data requests: the mobile number on your account and what you’d like us to do.
05What happens next
- We acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours.
- We review it, and may hide content while we look into it.
- We resolve it and tell you the outcome within 15 days of receiving it.
- If a complaint is about content that shows someone’s private areas or sexual acts, or that impersonates someone, we act to remove or disable it within 24 hours, as the law requires.
06Data rights requests
To access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent or nominate someone, email admin@vaivik.in and mention the mobile number on your account. We may ask a simple question to confirm the account is yours. Data requests follow the same timelines as other complaints.
You can also delete your account yourself at any time from the Account page.
07If you’re not satisfied
- Reply to our response and ask us to look again.
- For decisions under the IT Rules, you may appeal to the Grievance Appellate Committee set up by the Government of India (gac.gov.in) within 30 days of our decision.
- For personal data complaints, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once you have used our grievance process.
- You can also approach the police or a court at any time.
08Urgent safety concerns
If you are in danger, call 112. For online fraud, call the National Cyber Crime Helpline on 1930 or visit cybercrime.gov.in. Then let us know, so we can act on PASSA too.
